On Starter and Advanced, only orders that land in an active sheet count toward your allowance, and a draft order that becomes an order counts once. The count resets every 30 days.

Questions Merchants Ask

How do I export Shopify orders to Google Sheets automatically?

Install ItsCOD, connect your Google account and create a sheet. The app builds the spreadsheet in your Google Drive, and every new order for the products you link is added as a row within seconds. You never export anything by hand.

Does ItsCOD only work with cash on delivery (COD) orders?

No. ItsCOD syncs every order Shopify creates, whether it was paid online or with cash on delivery, and whether it came from your checkout or from a COD form app. Extra fields saved on the order fill custom columns with the same name.

Can I send different products to different Google Sheets?

Yes. Each product can feed its own sheet, one product can feed several sheets, and one sheet can collect many products.

What happens when an order is edited?

ItsCOD rewrites that order's row with the new details for edits made within 7 days of the order. It never overwrites the dropdown cells your team filled, so a status like Confirmed stays put.

Are draft orders synced too?

Yes. Draft orders go to a separate Draft Orders tab in the same spreadsheet and update when you edit them. When a draft becomes an order, it counts once toward your plan.

Can my team mark orders as Confirmed, Shipped or Cancelled?

Yes. Add a dropdown column with your own options and colors. Your team picks a value for each row in Google Sheets, and order updates from Shopify never reset it.

Which order details can I add as columns?

40 fields, including date and time, order link, customer name, phone, email, full address, product, variant, SKU, vendor, quantity, prices, discount codes, shipping, total weight, financial status, notes and tags. You can also add custom columns and fixed values.

Can several Shopify stores write into one spreadsheet?

Yes. Connect the same Google account in each store and import the spreadsheet. Every store keeps writing to the right tabs, even after someone renames the file or its tabs.

Can ItsCOD see my other Google Drive files?

No. ItsCOD uses Google's drive.file permission, which only covers the spreadsheets the app created. The rest of your Drive is out of its reach.

Is there a free plan, and what happens at the limit?

Starter is free and syncs 50 orders a month to one active sheet. Orders above your plan's limit stay in Shopify but are not added to the sheet. You get an email at 80% and 100% of your allowance so you can upgrade in time.
